THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS TO THE
2018 STARS FOR JESUS COLLECTION!
Stars for Jesus is the Social Concerns Ministry’s annual holiday gift collection for various Mercer County organizations (see list below) serving the impoverished of our community.
If you’d like to help, select star(s) from the bulletin board in the gathering space or CLICK THE BUTTON BELOW TO CHOSE AN ITEM. Purchase the item listed, tape the star to your gift and drop off your gift and/or monetary gifts at Ferrante Hall on December 8 or 9 before all Masses (except Sunday 6:00 PM Mass).
Please consider organizing your family, friends, neighbors or coworkers to donate a larger item as a group. Each organization has a contact person that can assist you. Please make monetary contributions out to: St. Gregory the Great – Social Concerns with the name of the organization you are supporting.
If you find that there are no stars left in any particular category or if you missed taking a star from the display, call Peg at 609-587-1131 x 262 for alternative suggestions.
Gifts cannot be accepted after the collection weekend. If you are unable to drop off gifts during the collection weekend (December 8 & 9) please call the contact person listed for the organization you are donating to PRIOR to collection weekend. In many cases, arrangements have been made with the organizations to have the donations picked up from the Parish Center immediately after the 12 Noon Mass on Sunday, December 9, and cannot be accepted after that. Your cooperation in returning any gift items during the designated collection weekend dates and times would be greatly appreciated in facilitating this process!
**Please DO NOT leave gifts at the Rectory or in the Church**
Thank you for all that you do to make life more joyful for those less fortunate
during this holiday season!
The Social Concerns Ministry would like to thank you for your kindness and generosity in making our 2016 Stars for Jesus annual holiday gift collection a success. Over 1,200 items were collected and will be distributed to various Mercer County organizations serving our community. We could not have done this without your amazing support. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
