Ever wonder how 20 questions can make a difference in the life of a Mercer County Senior?
The Mercer County Office on Aging/Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) is conducting a survey. The county Office on Aging/ADRC is a federally designated agency responsible for the assessment, development, and funding distribution of programs/services for those 60 years of age or older in Mercer County. This includes funding that supports our ICGMC Neighbors Helping Neighbors caregiving program and our Project Healthy Bones wellness program.
To comply with the Older Americans Act of 1965, an annual survey to determine the needs of the aging community is conducted, and results are incorporated in the county’s Area Plan Contract. The Office on Aging will complete this in two ways: by hosting a virtual public hearing and by using responses of its 20 Questions survey.
Your survey input will help to set priorities for senior services for the next several years. We need your help, fill out the 20 Question Survey here by July 1, 2021. And if interested attend the virtual public hearing on June 30th at 10 am,join here.
These tools will allow the Office on Aging to receive feedback on the needs that ICGMC and other senior care programs work to meet, and creates a snapshot of the emerging and unmet needs still facing our seniors in Mercer County.
