iCan Bike Summer Camp 
August 5-9, 2024

iCan Bike enables individuals with disabilities to learn to ride a conventional two-wheel bicycle, using adapted bicycles, a specialized instructional program, and trained staff. This milestone builds confidence and is a very gratifying, rewarding experience for everyone involved. iCan Bike is a program developed by iCanShine, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization who provides quality recreational activities for individuals with disabilities. St. Gregory the Great is working in collaboration with iCanShine, and Full Spectrum Therapy Partners  to bring this opportunity to our community.

iCan Bike riders must be: ages 8 and up; weigh no more than 220 lbs; have a disability; have an inseam measurement of at least 20”; be able to walk without assistive devices and sidestep from side to side. Camp cost is $250 per Rider.

Be a “spotter” for the same Rider for each of the 5 days and experience the thrill of giving the gift of riding a bike! Just 75 invigorating minutes per day… it just may be the most rewarding exercise and emotional experience you’ve ever had! To volunteer to be a spotter for a rider you must be 15 years of age or older. No prior experience working with people with disabilities is necessary.
