The Blessed Sacrament will be moved to the main altar of the Church at 6:30PM, Vespers will begin at 7:00PM, with Benediction at or around 7:30PM. Please join us to pray together, prior to Pope Benedict’s funeral in Rome which will be held in the early morning hours of Thursday, January 5th.
Regular confessions will still be available at their customary time.
Reflections of Pope Benedict XVI on the Sacred Heart of Jesus will also be the focus of our First Friday Devotional Mass on Friday January 6th at 7:30PM. Please join us with your family for this monthly devotion.
"The Church and the world have a great need for Eucharistic worship. Jesus awaits us in this sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go to meet him in adoration, in contemplation full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offenses and crimes of the world. Let our adoration never cease." (Pope St. John Paul II; CCC, 1380)Every vocation in the Church comes from and through Christ Jesus. It is he who calls. Spending time in Eucharistic Adoration with our Divine Lord is a good place to go to ask what he wants with our life. Why not spend some time each week in adoration, in union, in contemplation of the Lord present in the Eucharist?
