We are women from all walks of life, who have many different experiences. We are mothers, grandmothers and aunts. We are both married and single parents or have no children of our own.
What do we do?
We visit and share the sacredness of life from conception to natural death. We celebrate birth with new Moms and Dads; we mourn loss with those whose baby has died due to miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death; we support those in the adoption process and those suffering infertility. We cook meals for Mothers on bedrest or who have just had surgery. We pray for all families.
Why are we called “Elizabeth Ministry?”
Our name comes from the scripture story of the visitation where Our Lady visited her cousin Elizabeth who was also with child. Mary remained with Elizabeth through her pregnancy. Just as Mary helped Elizabeth, we, too, give support to women in need in our parish family.
Do you know someone who would be interested?

The group meets the first Tuesday of the month from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the Church Library, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. For more information, please contact Doreen Griffin-Gallway at [email protected] or 609 672-3799.
Creator God,
I pledge to truly celebrate the gift of each child conceived and born, and fully mourn each miscarriage, abortion, stillbirth and infant or child death. I will be a witness to my belief in the dignity and worth of all life, by honoring sexuality, treasuring the gift of fertility, promoting chaste living, uplifting the sanctity of marriage, helping those struggling with unhealthy lifestyles and sexual sins, supporting those suffering infertility problems, encouraging those in the adoptive process, and assisting families with prenatal, infant or child crisis, illness or special need. I will be a strong and consistent voice for life in my home, my church, my community, and my world. Amen.
