SIGN UP TO BE A VOLUNTEER
St. Gregory the Great Church will be open for Private Prayer during select hours of the day starting Monday, May 18. We respectfully request that all visitors adhere to the guidelines laid out by St. Gregory the Great's Covid-19 Task Force:
Older adults and/or those with underlying medical conditions should shelter in-place at home. Anyone who does not feel well, has COVID-19, OR has had close contact with persons with Covid-19 or its symptoms SHOULD NOT ENTER THE CHURCH. We respectfully request that all visitors adhere to the CDC guidelines for social distancing for your own protection and that of your fellow visitors.
HOURS: Monday-Saturday: 12:00pm-2:00pm; Monday-Friday: 6:30pm-8:30pm
MASKS: All the faithful must wear masks during their visit in church.
Anyone without a mask will be asked to leave.
10 INDIVIDUALS are allowed in the church at any one time. Ten safely distanced chairs are set up in the Nave. All pews/other areas are blocked off. Please do enter restricted areas!
REST ROOMS are not open for use.
ENTRANCE: Only use outer center doors to enter the church. Please follow the lane and socially distanced floor markers in the Gathering Space to the center entry doors of the Nave.
HANDICAP ENTRANCE: Upon leaving elevator proceed directly to the Gathering Space. Wipes are available at the elevator entrance/exit, please wipe the buttons before and after use.
A VOLUNTEER* will be present in the Gathering Space to answer questions and provide additional instruction.
SANITIZE: Please use hand sanitizer on table when entering the
Gathering Space. Canisters with sanitizing wipes are at each chair;
please wipe down chair thoroughly (seat, back, legs) when leaving.
PLEASE KEEP PRIVATE PRAYER TO 15 MINUTES if you notice others waiting for a seat.
IF WAITING for an unoccupied seat in church, visitors must stay in marked waiting lane in the Gathering Space. Once a chair becomes available, follow floor arrows to the first unoccupied seat.
WORSHIP AIDS: Do not use worship aids that are in the pews. If you
bring your own prayer books, please take them with you when you leave.
WHEN LEAVING, wipe down your chair thoroughly (seat, back, legs)
with a sanitizing wipe and follow floor arrows to exit the church.
EXIT: Use the door in the rear of the church (as you are looking at the
Gathering Space from the Nave) at the far left to exit.
CONVERSATION should take place in the Prayer Garden or parking
lot, away from the church building. A social distance of at least 6 feet should be maintained.
