CONGRATULATIONS to Jeff Podeszwa, a senior and active member of our GYM program for the past 4 years was awarded this year’s St. Timothy Award. Jeff has attended Project Appalachia the past 3 years, including a week on crutches. He is an outstanding worker both on site and at camp. Upon returning from our last trip, Jeff shared his Appalachia experience during our Welcome Home mass celebration, showing his commitment and desire to help increase membership. He is working in a new leadership role for this Spring with GYM members. In addition, his sense of humor and outgoing personality helps create comfort and sense of belonging to new members, as well as veterans. Jeff currently leads a new community project through Notre Dame High School, Semper Fido. He has shown tremendous growth and is an asset to school, church and our community.
