Seeking New Members for Parish Finance Council

Fr. Mike is seeking parishioners to serve on the Parish Finance Council. Parish Finance Council members serve a three-year term and provide counsel to the pastor on matters related to Parish financials (including Academy). The Finance Council is an advisory body that meets 6-8 times per year to review financial reports, provide suggestions and recommendations to the pastor, and annually approve the Parish and the Academy budgets. Candidates for the Finance Council should have experience reviewing financial reports and an understanding of accounting principles; members are not required to be accountants to serve on the Council.
Interested parishioners are invited to submit a letter to Fr. Mike explaining why they would like to serve on the Council and should include an overview of relevant experience along with an up-to-date resume no later than Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Letters may be mailed to or dropped off at the Rectory Office or emailed to Fr. Mike’s assistant, Kelley Figueroa, at [email protected].
