On February 26th, 2013 our Academy and parish communities joined at a prayer service to give thanks to God and all who assisted our students during a recent school bus crash. 

In recognition of their selfless bravery in rushing to the aid of their most seriously injured classmate in the recent bus crash, two St Gregory the Great Academy Students - Colin O’Neill and Mark Leonard - were presented with Certificates of Valor at this week’s Prayer Service of Thanksgiving. Also recognized at the service were school bus driver Jeanette Guerra; the ER staff, nurses and CEO Skip Cimino from Robert Wood Johnson Hospital; Hamilton Township Chief of Police James W. Collins; Dr. James Parla, Superintendent of the Hamilton Township School District; and Anthony Lecato, for making the initial call to 911 on witnessing the accident.
